Creation v Evolution: Overview

There are a few areas that cause problems with evolution theory. And while discussion of them is guaranteed to bring swift retribution from rank and file evolutionists, their methods of overcoming such opposition is flimsy, and in many cases mere distraction.

Despite such responses, as well as 'authoritative' protests by respected evolutionists, these areas deserve examination, along with the grounds for those protests.

This section deals with three primary areas that cause the most serious problems -- the fossil record, probability theory and thermodynamics. It begins with an analysis of the basic argument between creationists and evolutionists, and examines the variety of tactics employed by evolutionists to avoid the real issues.

  • The Argument looks first at the opposing philosophies that underlie all other aspects, and considers how they impact methods employed by creationists and evolutionists who argue the issue. Academic elitism -- a common evolutionist tactic -- is examined, and the role it plays in swaying uninformed opinion, public education associations and court rulings. Also examined are the peer review process and the nature of burden of proof concerning evolutionists' disregard for a lack of evidence.
  • The Fossil Record compares the claims made by evolutionists regarding the fossil record, and the actual evidence. The focus is on transitional species and the Cambrian Explosion.
  • Probability Theory looks at the ability of mathematics to calculate the likelihood of events specific to macro evolution, and examines various processes such as protein synthesis and the production of amino acids. This page also analyzes why evolutionists prefer to reject the application of mathematical probability in evolution theory.
  • Thermodynamics compares the view of Newton's second law from the perspective of evolutionists, and that of engineers who specialize in the field.
